A group of players who have helped with the running of the club this season, were invited by captain, Clive Welsman, to an a inter club game at Oakley Park on Saturday.
The matches, split into 15 over games, were played in high spirits and enjoyed by everyone at the club as the curtain was drawn on what has been a successful season.
Unfortunately, I had to leave earlier than most due to another engagement but the feedback I have had from the players who attended is that it was an excellent evening all round (what they remember of it!).

The people have I have spoken to have said that the day was a success mainly due to the effort put in by Martine and Clive with regards to organising the games, the food and of course, the alcohol.
As the chairman, I would like to thank everyone who came along but in particular, Clive and Martine for once again giving up their valuable time to ensure all the lads had a good day out; it was great to hear that everyone appreciated the effort they both put in.
See you all on the 8th November an evening when I think Martine & Clive should both drink for free!
