Nestled in the heart of Hampshire’s idyllic countryside, Oakley Cricket Club is far more than a traditional village club. It is a welcoming, vibrant community brought together by a shared love of cricket and a belief that the game should be open to all. From experienced players to those picking up a bat for the first time, Oakley CC offers a friendly and inclusive environment for everyone.

Throughout the summer, our three Saturday League teams compete in the Hampshire League, combining competitive cricket with strong team spirit. Alongside them, our Sunday Friendly side provides a relaxed and sociable format of the game, welcoming players of all ages and backgrounds. Our thriving Colts section continues to grow, with teams from Under 9s through to Under 15s, giving young players the opportunity to develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment of the game in a supportive setting.

Investment in facilities is a key part of supporting this growth. In 2025, the club installed new bespoke net lanes at Oakley Park, significantly enhancing our training environment and providing players of all ages with high-quality practice facilities to aid coaching, skill development and progression across the club.

As part of our ongoing development, 2026 also marks the continued growth of ladies’ and girls’ cricket at Oakley Park. This exciting step reflects our commitment to ensuring cricket at Oakley is truly for everyone, both now and in the future.

Oakley CC is about more than what happens in the middle. It is a club built on friendship, community and shared experiences. Wednesday evenings bring players together for training, selection discussions and time to relax in our welcoming clubhouse. With a licensed bar and a comfortable social space, it is a place where friendships are formed and memories are made.

Supporters are just as much a part of the club as the players. Family members, friends and visitors are always welcome to enjoy the cricket, soak up the atmosphere and watch the game unfold against the backdrop of the Hampshire countryside.

At Oakley CC, cricket is a game to be enjoyed by all, a blend of competition, camaraderie and community. Whether you play, support or simply want to be part of something special, you’ll find a warm welcome at Oakley.
