Congratulations from all the committee and senior players at Oakley go to Dan Jones, who will be making his first appearance for the Saturday seconds this weekend.
Dan has been picked to play for the seconds because of the positive feedback from Gordon Hossick about his ability and general attitude to the game and he will be well looked after by Dan Beckall and the second team players.
Dan follows in the footsteps of several former Colts who have successfully integrated in to the men’s game and it is confirmation of the support the committee show in bringing young players into the senior system.
Good luck Dan, I am sure it will be the first of many games.
