This week’s honours board shows plenty of people chipping in with the bat, but with only one ton from Nathan and one fifty from George, it perhaps underlines why the 2s and 3s just fell short in their games.
That said, both Joby and Archie finished unbeaten, so had they got in a little earlier, who knows, they may well have tilted things our way.
The bowling honours were tightly contested too, with DJ picking up another couple of wickets to keep hold of his place as the league’s leading wicket taker.
