What an awful day of cricket today, with all 3 fixtures wiped out by rain.
The ones would have been confident of chasing 183 despite a defiant knock from Ramsdell’s Liam Shore guiding the Rams to something respectable to defend.
Over a Ramsdell, The Oaks fancied chasing 214 on a flat deck but fancied it far less after slumping to 29-3 before the rain marched in.
Over at Berrydown, the 3s were gutted to not be able to wrap up a victory after racing to 34-1 in six overs chasing just 110. Bugger.
Sadly, the second abandonments of the season cost us money. That’s £600 in match fees lost as well as potential bar takings that rise in warm weather.
Oh well, on we must travel. More details will follow.
