Report from Emelia Whitbread
The U11 Oakley CC team put on a good a good batting display against some tough bowlers from Hook. When it was our turn to field, we had Steady Eddie inspiring the rest of the team displaying tight fielding. They are definitely improving.
There was lots of encouragement within the team and they put on a brave defence of their score. However, it was not to be their day and The Oaks came second.
Nonetheless, us parents can see a team spirit is definitely building and we are enjoying watching them develop.
