Oakley Cricket Club is excited to announce that our ladies’ team continues to flourish in 2026! Led by the dynamic duo of Ian Simpson and Gordon Scott, the team has built a strong foundation through months of dedicated training and indoor sessions throughout late 2023, 2024, and 2025. Now, they’re ready to take on another fantastic season.
Expect a summer packed with festival games, friendly fixtures, and thrilling showdowns as our ladies make their mark on the cricketing scene. Their energy, enthusiasm, and camaraderie perfectly embody Oakley CC’s commitment to being a welcoming, inclusive, and forward-thinking club where everyone can enjoy the game, learn new skills, and have a great time doing it.
Whether you’re new to cricket or looking to get back on the field, joining the ladies’ team is a fantastic way to play, learn, and enjoy cricket in a supportive and fun environment. Outdoor training kicks off in April 2026, and we can’t wait to see our players in action!
